Our Mission

Women-owned small business

PXL_20231013_200330758~2.jpg

We don't need every person doing zero waste perfectly, we need every person doing it imperfectly. We hope to make it easier and more affordable to shop sustainably. To do better than recycling. To say no to plastic altogether.

By shifting towards zero waste (or really really low waste), we're not only helping the environment but also taking control of our own consumption habits. It's about being mindful of what we buy, choosing products with minimal packaging, and getting creative with reusing and repurposing items. Plus, the sense of accomplishment and connection to the Earth that comes with reducing our waste is truly empowering. It's not about perfection, but rather making small changes that add up to a big impact. From cutting down on single-use plastics to supporting businesses that prioritize sustainability, a zero-waste lifestyle is a way to align our actions with our values and work towards a healthier, cleaner future for all of us.

Product Standards

Personally tested products.  We test each of our goods on our skin and home to ensure they work, feel good, and are not sacrificing effectiveness.   Clean ingredients.  We partner with companies who are free of the toxic chemicals and ask ourselves the question, "would I feel comfortable knowing it may end up washing into my vegetable garden".  We aim to find brands willing to "close the loop" meaning the container shipped will be sent back to the vendor to be refilled.

Buy in Bulk

Bulk shopping empowers us to tailor quantities to our actual needs, minimize waste, and promote mindful consumption.  We encourage the exploration of new products, fostering a sense of curiosity, all while embracing sustainable practices.

Reusable

We hope to make it easier and more affordable to shop sustainably.  To do better than recycling.  To say no to plastic altogether.  We carry dozens of bulk goods and source clean products from small business owners.  We encourage you to bring your own containers from home.  We also have compostable paper bags and reusable glass jars.
